This Texas group released their album in 1980, a varied and rather pleasant listen. The singer's agreeable voice is very well supported by prominent female backing vocals. The guitars can intertwine effectively. The compositions flow smoothly, without excessive fervor, with a clear country influence on a few tracks, but it lacks a standout song (or several) and a certain intensity. The overall impression is that despite real qualities, undeniable skill, and some good moments on this recording, the group doesn't offer a very strong, distinctive sound. This album was released on a Jacksonville label.
